A delegation of 36 African countries meeting in Lome, Togo, has condemned the continued use of cluster bombs worldwide and urged all African nations to sign up to an international ban. Visit to Serbia and FYR Macedonia by the President of the 3MSP
From 12-15 May 2013, the President of the Third Meeting of States Parties to the Convention on Cluster Munitions, Ambassador Steffen Kongstad made a visit to Serbia and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The visit was occasioned by a Workshop in Skopje on the Implementation of the Convention on Cluster Munitions, organised by RACVIAC, the Government Office for Mine Action of the Republic of Croatia, the Norwegian People’s Aid and the Ministry of Defence of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. A fake e-mail using the clusterconvention.org header has today been sent to several recipients pretending to be from the address info.docs@ccm3.pronk.se. It has the subject “Re: Important Confidential Document”.
The e-mail address does not exist and the link in the document leads to a website that most likely will attempt to infect your computer.
Please delete the e-mail and if you did click the link you should verify if your computer has been infected.
We will from today on configure DKIM and SPF for the clusterconvention.org enabling all recipients to verify the authenticity of e-mails sent from the @ccm3.pronk.se domain.

Continued use of cluster munitions in Syria
A report published 16 March 2013, identifies at least 119 locations in Syria where cluster munitions have been used in the past six months. “This report by Human Rights Watch documents that the use of cluster munitions in Syria is continuing and increasing. This conduct is deeply disturbing and should be condemned by the international community because of the unacceptable impact on innocent civilians,” says Ambassador Steffen Kongstad of Norway and Current President of the Convention on Cluster Munitions.
